Shipping policy
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Lettermail Shipping (Canada)
We currently offer letter mail shipping on all orders within Canada. Due to letter mail weight restrictions orders may be broken up into multiple packages (typically 3-4 items per package).
Please note that by selecting letter mail shipping at checkout you are opting for an untracked and uninsured package. Letter mail shipping has no delivery timeline. It is the customers responsibility to ensure a correct and complete mailing address is input at checkout. If a lettermail order is not delivered, we will not be able to provide a refund and/or any reshipments.

Free Shipping On Orders Over $50 Within Canada
Orders shipping within Canada with a subtotal of $50+ CAD will be eligible for free shipping. These orders will be provided with a tracking number.
Shipments to USA
Starting August 29, 2025, the United States has suspended its duty-free import limit (the “de minimis” threshold of US $800) for all countries, including Canada. This means that all packages sent to the U.S. must have duties prepaid before crossing the border, no matter their value or where they were made. To simplify this process, we apply a flat fee of $12 per order. This fee includes shipping costs (including an express shipping tracking number) and a portion of the duty fees (we'll cover the rest).
Local Contactless Pickup
Local pickup is possible from our hub in Mercier, QC. You will receive an email once your order is ready to be picked up.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Due to sanitary reasons we do not offer returns or exchanges on any of our products.
If you feel there is a quality issue with the quality of your product, please reach out to our team by emailing us at hello@mtlstrw.ca with your order # as the subject within 30 days of purchase.
We stand behind the quality of our product and will handle each inquiry on a case-by-case basis with our ultimate goal being your satisfaction.
Lost/Undelivered Packages
This is definitely never what we want, but unfortunately on the rare occasion packages can be lost or returned to sender due to being undeliverable. For all orders shipped via untracked letter mail we will not be able to provide a refund and/or any reshipments. If you have any questions regarding letter mail shipping please reach out to hello@mtlstrw.ca prior to placing your order.
For all orders shipped with a tracked shipping method our team will need to initiate a claim with the shipping carrier for lost packages. To set this up please email hello@mtlstrw.ca with your order #. Our team is always committed to finding resolutions, but please note that this process/timeline is beyond our control. Claims can take anywhere from 7-21 business days to be resolved dependant on the shipping carrier and their resolution process.
